Rumisonko performs folk music of the Andes mountains of South America, especially from Bolivia. The deeply rooted yet original melodies are played on a variety of unique instruments of the native cultures of the Andes.

The latest recording by Rumisonko, Añoranzas, offers a sample of the tunes performed by the group over its many years as standard-bearer for Andean music in the Washington DC Metro Area.
